dogstar Market Day – this weekend!

This Sunday my favourite Brisbane designer dogstar are holding a Market Day in aid of Spare Parts 2012 in London.

The Market Day is being held at the dogstar studio – 1 Burke Street Woolloongabba. It is on from 10.30am – 3.00pm. There will be lots of dogstar clothes, including one offs made just for the day! There will also be lots of yummy noms to buy, including dumplings from Dumpling Envy, gourmet hotdogs from New York Dogs, coffee and macaroons from Dolly Vardens, and mini cakes and treats from Madderz by Design. To wash it all down Sirromet Wine will also be there doing tastings and enticing us with trips to the winery!!

There are also auctions – including artwork by Matt Cunnington from Westside Tattoo, a beautiful hand made hat by Briellen Baker, a beautiful leg from the Spare Parts 2010 exhibition also by Briellen Baker, and various other lovely items. All proceeds of the auctions will go to Spare Parts 2012 in London. We also have music to entertain us… DJ Fluent JB will be with us all day, and we have sets from Benjamin Drozdovskii and Lucy Star Satellite.

I will also have some of the artworks from 2010 there!!

It will be a great event, and there really is something for everyone. Come on down, say hi, grab some lunch, and treat yourself to some dogstar, and help Spare Parts on it’s London journey at the same time.
